The second MediaStorm Advanced Multimedia Reporting Workshop finished at the beginning of October. Bob Sacha led the charge. I added a bit of editing and production assistance at the end of the week. From the description:
Since 1934, Amateur Night at the Apollo has been one of the best-known launching points for singers and performers in the world. Thousands of hopeful contestants audition each year, with the hopes of performing in front of the critical Apollo audience, who vote with cheers and boos.
Through the eyes of two contestants, Ken Harvey and Velvet Ross, we get a glimpse into their hopes for the future, and see how performing at the Apollo could change their lives as they work to make their dreams of fame come true.
